Images That Blind Us From Seeing Reality
I used to pay $0.35 for a pack of Marlboro cigarettes. You pay $35 for a pack of cigarettes. I paid for gas and electric bill, $75 a month. Your gas and electric bills are $375 a month. I could buy a brand-new Pinto for $3000. You buy a brand-new SUV for $80,000. I bought a brand-new home for $65,000. Your pain $400,000 for a house. I made $10.00 to $12.00 an hour. When I started working at the age of 16 I made $1.00 an hour. $33.80 take home.
My solution for your high cost of living is to cut costs. This is how you do it. Say it’s Friday and you get paid, the first thing you do is, you spend $1000 and get $500’s worth of goods. You should spend $1000 and get $1500’s worth of goods, coupons, sales, etc.
You buy a home for $450,000. Instead buy a home for $300,000. then buy solar panels, solar batteries, and also a Tesla automobile. (You will have to crunch the numbers here.) Say your house payment it’s $1000 a month. The interest payment is $950, and your principal is $50 a month instead of paying the $1000 a month paid $1050 each month. Try to do this with each one of your bills.
Good luck and or God bless. A family that prays together stays together. Eat dinner at the dinner table with no cell phones. I suggest reading at least one hour a day preferably the philosophers and philosophy. This will be boring at first, but you will be surprised by the wisdom and knowledge you will gain. Your moral compass will change.
If you want to move your life and your family’s life from entropy (chaos) follow these instructions. First, let me say, Atheists say, there is no God. I say look around you, look up into the sky, all of this did not just happen. It had to have been created by a creator. Think about it for a minute. Created from nothing or created by a creator. Simple analogy. And now for the good life. The good life is not guaranteed because the universe is in Enthropy.
When I was a boy I played and acted like a boy when I became a man I put childish ways behind me. Your toolbox for the good life. Humanity has everything it needs to create a good world. We’ve had it for 3,000 years. It’s the Ten Commandments; ten basic, yet profound instructions for how to lead a moral life. Mothers, you are the rock. Without you man is nothing.
If I speak in tongues of men and of angels but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always hope always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child; I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain, faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.
