The Bliss Family: Manifesto
Your body gets used to what you feed it regularly. No child likes their first olive. You have to cultivate the taste. Once you learn to like something, you really like it. So of course, your body’s going to adapt to what you eat.
My family has adopted the “12-year-old boy diet,” consisting mainly of french fries, hot dogs, and ketchup on everything. While these foods are undeniably tasty and convenient, we’ve come to realize that this diet lacks the necessary nutrients our bodies need for optimal health. This habitual preference for processed and fast foods can lead to health issues such as obesity, heart disease, and nutrient deficiencies over time.
Recognizing the importance of a balanced diet, we’re committed to making gradual changes by incorporating more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins into our meals. By educating ourselves and making mindful choices, we aim to shift towards a healthier lifestyle.
“You have two cells within you: a normal cell and a cancer cell. The one that thrives is the one you feed.”
